FunLove.4099 virus

My Gateway Pentium 800 is infected with the virus FunLove.4099. Ran Norton 2001 several times and although Norton says that it cleaned the files, the virus is still there. Currently it infects the file C:\WINNT\system32\dvdplay.exe several times a minute and each time Norton fixes it. But I cannot seem to get rid of it. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it from the system???
