When I got the CIH Virus on my computer I just wasn't very happy. All that data gone.. That stressed me out. Luckelly, This virus only messes the so called 'C' drive and my 'D' drive was left intact with only the infection which I removed promptly after re-installing my system. I do recommend people to either partition their HDD into 2 partition: 1 for the system and the other for their data and programs. It does save a lot of things or even better have 2 physical HDD..
