The battle between intel and amd considering the rapid processor development is beeing monitored by millions of people. Soon releasing the 2 GHZ processor Merced Intel will shurely have an advantage on the market while AMD keeps on developing the Sledgehammer for a releaze date in 2002. But as we all have seen the existing AMD Thunderbird processors beat Intel4 with higher performance. I for one will be waiting for the AMD Sledgehammer, expecting to reach the so wanted 2GHZ limit and smash intel once and for all.
