Well my computer was determined to have a hardware problem by HP online support so I shipped it to an authorized service provider and just recieved the call today that it is not a hardware issue but a software issue and therefore not covered under warranty. It seems that if the restore disc is used in the CD RW drive they will not load properly resulting in numerous system crashes, it's either that or I actually have a bad copy of recovery discs. Either way, they have no solution for me and are shipping the computer back so if anyone has seen or fixed a similar problem I hope to hear from you soon.
