HP XP789 crashes with high-speed connection

I use high-speed internet connection (Road Runner) and
bought an HP pavilion PC model xp789, with OS Windows
Millenium. Since the first day, the computer crashes
constantly. I contacted HP support, took the computer
to the HP Service and they could not find anything
wrong with it.

Does anybody have problems with high-speed connection
and Windows Millenium?
