The PIII is really that bad.
The issue is basically a phone tap but on your computer instead. Last time I checked phone taps are illegal.
How do you switch computers. The chip broadcasts your program info everywhere. If you switch systems, you may find yourself being sited for using somebody else's copy of that program even though it is yours.
The only person who can really benefit from the PII are large businesses trying to sell more software.
It is your right as an American to have a private internet experience.
If you still don't think this is bad, read 1984. Big Brother is watching.
