I have been following the free ware program that is being created at the web site:

This man should really be commended for his efforts, especially for the fact that he is doing it for free, as a public service!
I have loaded the program after changing my bios chip. Unfortunately, when the program starts to run it says:
A Critical Error Prevents Us from Proceeding!
A Bios- level hardware error of some sort is preventing this utility from determining the size characteristics of the shosen drive.
Then in the bottom box it reads:
Drive: 80h Bios Ext:Yes Params: 0001h
Does anyone else come across this problem?
Has anyone been successful with overcoming this? Better yet has anyone been able to recover their inoperable hard drive data.
Lets pool our knowledge together and encourage people like Steve at Spinrite to overcome these sicko's who create havoc on us.
