Kill all my workstation hard disk partition.
Erased the BIOS on two of my PC.
Giga-Byte GA-486AM/S and QDI P5I430TX Titanium IB+.
Giga-Byte has a BIOS reprogramming or replacement program.
QDI Technician told me that i have to replace the motherboard (that suck's).
All my ASUS BIOS survived the attack of virus.
P2L97 Pentium II & P5A-B Pentium
ABIT AB-PX5 BIOS survived too.
Was able to recover data on every partition of every disk with ONTRACK Tiramisu Fat16
W95.CIH had kill every partition table and FAT table of the root directory on the first partition
all other partition were intact. Spent 3 day's to recover 5 hard disk (1.6G to 4.3G)

P.S. Do backup on regular basis. And the money you save by not using an anti-virus will be spent
on wasted time at 2 to 5 time the cost
