An excellent idea - the more steam Linux gains, the more choices we all have. This also points out that the solution to the Microsoft problem the Feds are wrestling with isto make Windows into an open-source operating system. That would force Windows applications (and the vendors, including Microsoft) on to a level playing field, and would allow everyone involved to choose the operating system and applications that best fit the mission.
