I am 58 years old and still a kid. I have just recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrigs Disease and I don't like it but I don't care anyway. I WAS REQUIRED to read both "1984" in 10th grade and "Animal Farm" in the 11th. I got more out both of them than anything that was required to read by Dickens. "It was the worst of times, it was the worser of times?" That was in a (God forbid) a public school on the outskirts of Washington DC before political correctness and the ACLU. (Also before the proliferation of the drug culture and Tim Leary was still looking for a substitue for aspirin.. You shopuld read some of the early preachings of a young IBM engineer named Gates.
