Don't look now, but Big Brother is already here. Do we know that the ability to transmit a unique identifier is not in Win98 already? Would sure be a good way to find illegal copies floating around. Someone is bound to think of this if they have not already. Any little software program could easily send info to a net address or email address when it is running at the same time a network connection is live ....then just send the software police. *smile* 1984 is here, but a little late, that is all. By the way, I think there should be stiff penalties for any company, even Intel, doing this ...say, $10,000 per incidence. That would be a deterrent.
