Windows 98 Problem

There is a real problem with Windows 98, such as it won't run on an AMD K6-2 system, 95 works perfectly though. This has been tested and verified using 4 different system configurations:

AMD K6-2/300
503+ MB
ATI Xpert@Play 8mb
Western Digital 6.4G
Samsung 32x

AMD K6-2/300
Spacewalker Shuttle
S3 Virge/Dx 4mb
Seagate 4.3G
Mitsumi 24x

AMD K6-2/266
QDI Titanium 1B+
Venus Virge/Dx 4mb
Fujitsu 3.2G
Samsung 32x

AMD K6-2/266
Gigabyte 430TX
S3 Virge/Dx 4mb
Samsung 6.4G
Acer 36x

If you have an AMD K6-2, don't put 98 on it, I tried for 2 days, reformatted 5 times and reinstalled 8 times. Everytime lock-ups galore.
