Problem - winsock.dll & wsock32.dll

I am having a problem with the winsock.dll and wsock32.dll files and windows95. After I install the software for instant internet and run the internet, windows95 will not shutdown or restart properly. I just hangs. Are there updated winsock.dll and wsock32.dll files available that run with windows95?
