I do not believe the government has a valid case this time. Netscape has in the past threatened to "turn Navigator into a full operating system" competing with Win98, would that be cause for a similar lawsuit? Why should it? Even though Netscape still commands a majority of businesses worldwide using browsers, 60%, there is no reason to think they would suddenly claim a majority of the operating system business worldwide. I think the Feds should let free enterprise play it out even though it may appear Microsoft is leveraging their OS edge a little heavy this time I feel they are not doing it to kill Netscape but really want to make a better computer for the consumer. Who really knows?
