I do not think that MS is a monopoly. I think it is a very successful business that is so far ahead of the pack the pack is jealous. It seems that a lot of this did not start until Netscape wasn't able to get what they wanted of the market even after giving it away. Sounds like so much sour grapes to me. I really have a hard time with the monopoly concept. Since when was success defined as a monopoly? Will the government place a bureaucratic limit on success next? Will Intel be next on the list? Will the whole technology field be a war zone? Where do free enterprise and dictates of the market fit into this concept? Could someone review the definition of socialism for me?
