slamming phones

Anything Politicians do to eliminate slamming HELPS, but this bill is never going to really help because, seldom will the consumer apply the application of the bill and enforcement of the fine is a joke,most people do not realize that the major telephone companies slamm phones by computer directly into the local telephone companies switching computer, since the politicians do not understand how the telephone system works, they will continue to pass meaningless bills that give the impression they are helping instead of investigating what the telephone companies do, do you know that a telephone company that automaticly bills long distance calls through the local tele phone company can slamm your phone for two or three weeks out of each month and the customer will never know it, because only the local telephone company splits off the LD calls and pays the LD carrier, most consumers do not understand how to read a telephone bill, I believe is some one reading this message would invent a computer that would go inline to the telephone that would record all outgoing calls as to time date minutes and seconds, then challange the phone compaNY WHEN THEY BILL THE CALL wrong and over charge us, as my last example as to why these bills won't work, a telephone company needs a volumn of calls each month to reach the revenue mim. they require, one of the many ways they get the money is weekly slamming another way is the time they charge us for calls, as a example....
yOU PICK UP THE RECEIVER( YOU ARE CHARGED IF THE CALL COMPLETES)YOU PLACE A CALL THE CALL GOES TO THE LOCAL PHONE COMPANY AND WE ARE CHARGED, THE CALL IS TRANSFERRED TO THE LONG DISTANCE PHONE COMPANY AND WE ARE CHARGED THE CALL THEN GOES TO THE LOCAL TELEPHONE COMPANY NEAR YOUR HOUSE AND WE ARE CHARGED, THEY PICKED UP THE PHONE AND YOU ARE CHARGED, YOU TALK AND HANG UP, THE CHARGES ARE REVERCED UNTIL THE LAST SWITCH IN ALL THE SYSTEMS CLOSE. iF A SWITCH DELAYS CLOSING YOU ARE CHARGED UNTIL IT DOES, FYI...
WHEN YOU HEAR THE PHONE RIG ON THE OTHER END WHEN YOU PLACE A CALL THE RIGN YOU HEAR IS NOT FROM THE OTHER PHONE, THE TELEPHONE COMPANY PLAYS A RECORDING INTO YOUR PHONE THAT MAKES YOU BELIEVE THE SOUND IS COMMING FROM THE OTHER PHONE. BY THE WAY: THE SEPERATE CHARGES ABOVE ARE CALLED UNBUNDLED CHARGES, THEY ARE COMBINES AS ONE CHARGE ON YOUR PHONE BILL AND IS INCLUDED IN THE RATE PER MINUTE YOU PAY.

This Bill is a step in the right direction but not close to the answer. Are you charged for calls you place and not one answers? The telephone company will tell you ?
