Patch Microsoft IE Now!

by Dave Murphy
ISSN 1535-3613

Dave Murphy, DGL President & ITrain founder Microsoft released a security patch to plug a hole in its Web browser that could allow hackers to steal passwords and trick people into downloading virulent files.

The patch fixes serious security holes in Microsoft's web browser Internet Explorer versions 5.5 and 6.0. The patch is free and may be downloaded and installed in minutes from Microsoft's website.

Dave's Opinion

This security update, known as the December 13th patch, fixes problems that were discovered over the last two months. If you use IE 5.5 or 6.0, you must install this patch.
