Microsoft Office Apps In Your Hand

Dave Murphy, DGL President & ITrain founder Software maker DataViz on Monday unveiled an application that brings Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Acrobat PDF files, and email to PalmOS handheld devices.

DataViz' Documents To Go Professional Edition 4 lets Palm users view and edit Microsoft Office files on their Palm and Handspring handheld computers. Users can navigate presentations in outline, speaker notes and slide views on their small devices, a big plus for travelers and those whose cubicles are short of available desk space.

The software also lets users save and synchronize large documents to expansion cards on Palm m500 series handhelds and exchange data with two or more PCs and Macs.
