Microsoft gets ready to release major upgrade
Microsoft Readies Office 2000
This upgrade is important because it's an upgrade from Office 97, and because it's from Microsoft. ITrain has already received several requests for our professionally-certified versions of Office 2000 training materials. The software learning guides will be available immediately following public release of the product. We expect IT trainers to begin offering Office 2000 in large volume within six months. Some will offer classes as soon as next week; however, a steady stream of training work is expected to take about half a year to develop. The two most anticipated applications in the suite are Word and Excel, Microsoft's applications for word processing and numerical analysis, respectfully. The ability to share information via links that extend to remote co-workers through the Internet is just one of the desired features in Office 2000.
