Microsoft Releases Office 97 SR-2a Patch
by Dave Murphy
ISSN 1535-3613
Microsoft posted a corrected patch for Office 97 that was removed from it's website last month after many users experienced installation problems.
Included in the Microsoft Office 97 SR-2a update is a recalculation patch for the Excel spreadsheet and a record-editing fix for Access. Also included are updates that will ensure correct date handling and Y2K compliance.
To install SR-2a, users must have first installed SR-1, which is also available on the Microsoft website.
