Esperanto Virus Infects PCs & Macs

Dave Murphy, DGL President & ITrain founder A newly discovered computer virus, Esperanto.4733, is capable of infecting both PCs (DOS, Win95, WinNT) and Macs (Mac & PowerMac).

The virus is capable of infecting both .COM and .EXE files on a PC and MacOS apps, extensions, control panels, system file, finder, DA handler, and the desktop file on Macs.

Esperanto activates every year on July 26th at which time the virus will display various messages on the screen.

The existence of the Esperanto virus was announced last week by Central Command, Inc.
