Reveal Win95 Passwords

SnadBoy's Revelation application for Windows 95 is able to crack and reveal the passwords Win95 users have saved. Passwords, such as the dial-up networking password can be revealed.

Designed to help recover long-forgotten passwords, Revelation was designed to help users who have automated the entry of Win95 passwords using the "remember my password" box in the Win95 dialogue window.

However, the utility can also be used by hackers to gain access to a computer's password cache.

Users who are concerned about security should deselect the "remember my password" option and manually enter the password each time. This will prevent Win95 from saving the password between sessions.
