Connect Multiple Macs To The Net |

Share A Mac Connection by Dave Murphy ISSN 1535-3613
Vicom Technology said it’s Vicom SurfDoubler software lets two computers share a single ISP connection, potentially cutting a user’s phone charges. The software runs on Macintosh but only one of the computers needs to be a Mac. "The other machine can be anything, a Windows machine or Unix," said Vicom President Brian Morrif. Morrif describes SurfDoubler as a software router. He said it is designed for consumers or home workers with multiple computers that require access to the Internet. The software essentially multiplexes the connection so more than one computer can share a single ISP link. Vicom's website is http://www.vicomtech.com/.
