The initial release of Notespad was reported in ITINFO along with a product description: http://dgl.com/dglinfo/1996/dg960910.html.

The 32-bit version adds, among other features, support for long filenames. This makes Notespad an excellent editor for web designers who make HTML modifications while on the road and need a 32-bit editor that fits on a diskette.
