Adobe Amber Integrates .PDF With Web Browsers

Adobe offers a pre-release version of Amber reader , the codename for the upgrade to their popular Acrobat reader.

Amber's features include:

-Seamless integration with Web browsers like Netscape Navigator 2.0 allows the PDF document to be viewed in the browser's window.
-Optimized PDF files for online delivery. The document may be viewed a page at a time rather than requiring the entire file to be downloaded before viewing.
-PDF embedded in HTML pages.

Amber requires Windows 95 or NT. A Macintosh version is planned for January '96 release. A UNIX version may follow. No DOS versions are planned.
