2. Which Net Suite Is Best?
There's really only one choice at the moment for most Windows 3.x Internet users: Internet In A Box. IBOX, as it's called, is available for less than US$100 at major software retailers and bookstores in the area. IBOX is the easiest, most complete, Internet access suite to date. It requires 17 MB of disk space to install, and then it removes a few temporary files that it created and slims down to 11 MB. It will load in 4 MB of RAM; however, it begs for 8 MB.
IBOX isn't difficult to install but to make it easier, Damar Group and Softaid Net Works wrote a graphic installation manual to help users get started faster.
Also, a Training Express learning guide designed expressly for IBOX is available an introductory price of US$7.99 by contacting our customer service associates at sales@dgl.com.
For Windows 95 users, we recommend using the built-in 32-bit Internet access software that comes with Win95 and low-cost or free software that's available on the Internet.
Our suggestions include Netscape Navigator 2.0 for web browsing and newsgroup reading, Eudora Pro for email, and WS_FTP for file transfer protocol procedures.
For all users who will be creating a web site, our #1 recommended choice is Hotdog. All of these products are available on the net. If you would like assistance in locating them, please email info@dgl.com.
