The Indexing and Search Services training modules address topics and technology that relate to cataloging, indexing, and search and retrieval mechanisms for information available via Internet. These topics include, but are not limited to, directories, virtual libraries, robots and other web-based search engines, identification tools such as finger and Netfind, etc. Each of the training modules has been developed with a specific question in mind on the subject of finding information on the Internet, in response they attempt to describe the resources and technology identified in the question as substantively as possible in a clear and concise manner.
